Motorola widgets not updating

I have all the latest version of the Android version for my phone, and have installed all security patches. Are there some things I can try? Maybe something with battery optimizations or something? A few hours later I left the house. This revert includes a factory reset. As soon as the Samsung moved from home WiFi to the 4g signal the widgets froze. I'm using the stock Android launcher. Afterwards no more updates. So I tried the factory reset solution. Are there some settings that I could have executed that froze my widgets? I haven't found a single one that updates at the moment. Hopefully if the problem is that the phone used to have a 3g SIM and moved to a 4g, the blank-slate approach should fix it

I have all the latest version of the Android version for my phone, and have installed all security patches. When I reboot my phone, it updates the widgets one time, and that's that. I haven't found a single one that updates at the moment. What prompted me to make the connection was the earlier poster who noted that the widgets froze when he left home and moved from WiFi to LTE. I plan to backup my Samsung, factory reset it, put the new SIM back into it and set it up like a new phone. But I'm guessing the Android N beta has nothing to do with my problem? Including the July security patch from a couple of days ago. So I tried the factory reset solution. Really, really deep bug, if you know what I mean. Are there some settings that I could have executed that froze my widgets? I have several widgets that should update regularly: I'm using the stock Android launcher.
